TLMR 098 A Thousand Shall Fall

A Thousand Shall Fall formed in 2011 out of Santa Cruz. The put the band together because of their need music that was not cliche and easily accessible. They wanted something heavier, dark, and still technical. ATSF was born! The band will release their third recording entitled, “Perennial” in January, 2017. It is the third in a series of releases that follow in a thematic storyline of destruction, desolation, and regrowth.

TLMR 085 A Mirror Hollow

A Mirror Hollow is based out of L.A. The are a band that utilizes technology to help elevate the fact that they are a fair distance away from each other. The sound that they produce is fairly similar to the active rock on the radio. Their live show is something to witness. Very energetic and interesting.

Central Valley Metal Movement is a group of bands that is lead by Jeff G. He was gracious enough to let me interview some of the bands on his bill when they played at the local venue that I call home. Thank you Barmageddon for allowing us to have a place to have these shows. Check out these bands and let me know what you think.

Personal: I heard that Howard Jones formed a new band and I was all over it. I dug alot of what he did in Killswitch Engage BUT it got old to me. With Devil You Know I believe that Howard and his talent shines again. I bought both CDs and I reall dig them.

On today’s episode we are covering The Local Music Revolution’s One Year Anniversary Show. TLMR started a a small idea, I just wanted to talk to other musicians about their music and how they create. Within a short time the Podcast became its own monster. I have been able to interview many of my friends and I have been able to make a ton of friends as well. This special was recorded at the anniversary show, With the bands right in front of me! This episode features 4 of the 5 bands that were at the show. Enjoy!

TLMR 040 Halloween Special

The Fourth of July special was really fun to do. After the first recording I decided that I was defiantly going to make more specials. I settled on the remaining Major holidays of the year. I asked past, current and future guests 2 questions. I also sent the questions out via social media and had fans and listeners answer the questions as well. The questions were:

1. What is your favorite artist that uses masks or face paint?
2.What is your favorite artist that uses theatrics?

TLMR 016 Zion In Ruins

I found Josh, the mind behind Zion in Ruins while doing research for another interview. I found that he was based in the next town over so I contacted him. It didn’t take long to get the interview set up.
